GREEN BUDDHA will have a trunk show at Yoga Works in Mill Valley this weekend. Fri. and Sat. Oct 5th and 6th. We are grateful for their support. The Walnut Creek show was a huge success and we will be doing one In Nov. in San Francisco. If you are in the area, try and come. Its a lovely studio. Its all about being grateful and the energy created by this lifestyle of AOG (attitude of gratitude).
We went to the charity event last nite and Dana did a Super job with our Gratitude basket, but I left early and I’m not sure it sold. It was an interesting event , . held at Park tavern in SF. Rather new restaurant in North Beach but they did a great job. I’m grateful I had a nice friend to go with (Patti Forte) as we had lots of good laughs, and both of us had sore feet and could hardly walk. It was fun to be able to laugh however. Laughter is good medicine and makes 10’s like 2’s.
Getting ready to go to a benefit auction tonite in San Francisco Our gift to the auction is a large basket of our AOG products and a private Yoga class from 1 to 6 people. Its listed at $450. I hope it sells and brings Gratitude into the life of the person who buys it. I will let you know. Just read someones blog on her website and of how she was suffering from depression and her life had no meaning for her. She didn’t know what to do and a Nun told her to write down every day something she was grateful for. She also loved to take pictures. So she decided to take photographs of the things she was grateful for and , made a website and video and called it “365 days of Gratefulness”. Shes getting messages from people all over and now sees a new meaning in her life and has become quite an expert photographer. Just wanted to share this with you.She started with the things around her that she was not aware of before.
I’m not used to blogging, but I love sharing Green Buddha and AOG (Attitude of Gratitude) So I will start there. Sometimes I get discouraged on how hard it is to keep this AOG attitude going, but when I get off course, I think of something to be grateful for that is right at my fingertips. Today, I am especially grateful for all my roses starting to bloom and how lucky I am to be healthy, doing what I want to do, and still be in my lovely home with my beautiful view. Things have not always been so rosey with me but during those times who would dream at my age I would have a company working with my daughter, having fun (most of the time) and sharing how gratitude can lead us into magical places never dreamed of.. I always feel I never have enough time to do all the things I want to do and I get down. Someone once said Our inbox will still be full on the day we die. Being PRESENT is the answer, and the hardest answer of all. I would love to hear if any of you are picking this up and if you want to add anything. Thanks and have a great AOG day.
I want to start blogging again and bring ways that I’ve been using gratitude in my life.
I’m learning how to blog and I am so grateful to have a nice patient person to help me. I am always amazed when I need someone or something it appears into my life when I keep my Attitudeof Gratitude up. Tasha and I are doing ok in being grateful for each other.
I just had to put my 14-year-old Schitzu, Buddy, down, and it was very painful for me as he was my best friend and we were always together. To help me get through this difficult time, I kept thinking over and over again, how grateful I was to have had him so long. And I continue my Attitude of Gratitude whenever the pain comes. My other Schitzu, Tasha, has been a big comfort for me so I am very grateful to have her in my life while we both miss Buddy. If you have used gratitude to help you get through a difficult time, I would like to hear your story.
